I notice more and more of our choices are online based now. Not complaining at all but just goes to show how far we've come in the last few years!

Some channels have moved to satellites that are hard to get in the UK, but there are still loads of channels on satellite, many are now HD. It is the Pacific region where online helps most due to the lack of satellite rebroadcasts here.

Especially with the spread of Smart TVs etc. In my early midnight chasing days, watching an internet stream on a TV would have meant physically connecting a computer to it. To watch maybe a 320x240 px image.

Yup but its also indicative of what we have lost on satellite the last few years. Vietnam VTV, Myanmar MRTV3 etc

Octagon SX88+, Static 1.2m Raven Dish (22w to 33e), Motorized Dish (9e to 52e)
My Location
England
at 16:00 GMT We have China (Beijing, Shanghai), Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, Taipei, Perth

Best bet are feeds and streams but worth keeping an eye on Phoenix 9e, CGTN Hotbird 13e, CCTV 4 9e and 13e. Sky News will probably take Hong Kong for a bit.

Lots of options, if you see any streams that haven't been posted already feel free to do so.

North Korea had a great song and video, it would be a heart of stone that said otherwise.

Imagine the inbred fartheads in our parliament trying to do that. It would be so bad there wouldn't be any need to parody it!

Ironically, smart TVs are not so smart, they keep dropping app support and require too many presses on the remote control that I find it much easier to use a computer!
Old people often find smart TVs a pain or impossible to use while the 'smart' TV companies pretend the UI and UX is the best ever.
