You are right in that the seller can sell to who they wish. However I do consider your behaviour in this thread to be underhand. You have broken the forum rules twice, once by asking to move to PM before a deal was concluded, then by gazumping an offer made by myself to the vendor for the full asking price.

As I placed the 1st offer on the table of £75 and it was the full asking price then I should not have to increase that offer and I hope that the vendor respects the spirit of the forum.

I think we need a ruling, regarding this sale, from rolfw, or chris, so for now I'm closing the thread and asking them to look into it.

This is a perfect example of the sort of problems that can arise from allowing this sort of transaction to take place.
The moderator is quite correct in the action taken
The full asking price of the item was offered in post 5, if the seller wanted more for the item then the seller would have asked more for the item.
Pm has been activated for the seller to contact the prospective purchaser.
If any further trouble is caused by the sale of a £75.00 dish then action will be taken against the people causing that trouble

weight height length width ....to name but a few ...
Plus I'm not sure it would be handled with kid gloves ..
It needs moving by someone who understands that ...even slight warping of the dish makes it useless.

No way. The transport request can have photos and you can put approx weight and sizes. Maybe a link to the post if admin here allow. As most of the carriers are small you usualy get a good service. Also they have feedback which helps.

It is unlikely to perform any different to what is already at his establishment, and projects (in my field) usually mean something that far exceeds what is already in place.
