Bloody hell the output level thing of this is insane, doing everything possible to weaken the signal is still wiping out the Freeview signal...
Output to Spitter, to Splitter, to 6DB attentuator to 6DB attenuator, to Satellite side of a Diplexer on VHF-Channel 5 and it's still wiping out all the Freeview multiplexes. (To use VHF set country to Spain, select Channel 5, then set country back to UK)/
Even holding the cable (WF100) 5 cm from the splitter still gives enough signal to watch the modulator and ruin the Freeview.
Alas, the biggest issue I have with it is that non of my Freeview sets will display a picture, including the EETV box (which does Freeview HD and all the streamed channels). Looks like the issue is that the output is "29.97fps" rather than the normal 25fps!
>> MPEG4 Video (H264) 1920x1080 29.97fps [V: h264 constrained baseline L4.0, yuv420p, 1920x1080]
I guess there's a reason the Edision one is over £50 more!
