Hi,

I live in a block of flats have communal sat coming from the roof and i'm a little confused on how setup somethings...

I have 2 box points on the wall.

First wall point. Has 42.E and 13.E which is on the disecq so 42.e is on diseq A and 13.e is diseq B. Its coming from the roof like that...

Second wall point. Which has only sky 28.2 sat only no other sats from that point.

Basically what i want to do is if possible connect all 3 of the lnbs 42.e,13.e and 28.2 to 1 sat receiver, please check my attached picture for a clear picture of what i mean.

Thanks for reading and i hope you can help.

Diseqc 1.1 switch is what you need I believe, or if the receiver has a 12V output, you can use that via a Coaxial relay.

But as the sky stb does not understand Diseqc I thought it had to be allocated to A, in which case there is a conflict.

looks like you are trying to pick turk 1c.
on the back of the sat receiver there should be rca port saying 12 v.
the disec 1.1 uses the 12 v dc to switch from left to right side.
if the left wall point is 42 and 13 this will have the 12 off and the signals will go to the receiver.
with the 12 v on the relay will seitch to the other point were the 28 degree sat is.
another way is with a manual a/b switch.
the voltage and tone from the receiver must pass through the a/b switch and you must manualy switch between the 2 wall signals.
this relay works with the 12 v drom the box.
you will see in the menu disec A,B,C,D and 12 v tone and no tone.

hope this helps

Not all receivers have a 12V output, and it has nothing to do with Diseqc, though some receivers may put the control in that part of the menu I gather.

A DiseQc 1.1 uncomitted switch will work, if your reciever supports it. Set it up with port1 for 13e/42e and 2 for 28e. In the menu's enter the LNB setup like this

42e, Uncomitted 1, DiseQc A
13e, Uncomitted 1, DiseQc B
28e, Uncomitted 2, DiseQc None

You may have to put DiseQc repeats to 1 or even 2 to make sure the commands reach both switches.

I have tested this on my TM9100 using an EMP uncomitted and an Octogon 4way DiseQc, and it works a charm.
