No, it's not T2-MI, not even multistream, just a regular DVB-S2 transmission needing a PLS code. Still a bit puzzled as to why DVBDream won't lock it though!

Ahh interesting!! So it's Castilla La Mancha's public DVB-T multiplex (CMT).

Hopefully you'll manage to lock it again!

I can't get it to lock in TVHeadend with the PLS mode set to combo and the code as 2388 either. Maybe because it's trying to apply a multistream stream ID even though this "regular" DVB-S2 with physical layer scrambling.

Here are the screencaps as promised, the last one with tp parameters!
Now, the HDCastilla is an upscaled version of the SD programming, not real HD despite its approx. 6mbps bitrate.
Very interesting to watch local Spanish TV and agricultural advertising from so far!!!

Frankly, I don't know, and I am very happy about how that story end regarding this frequency.
I never thought to chek a PLS code for this frequency because of the high SNR, but now we can confirm one thing: in PLS combo mode the SNR is the same as a regular TX.

No problem, glad i could help! I only searched in COMBO mode on a hunch really, just thought if it had been ROOT or GOLD somebody would have found it by now. As no other services (that i know of) use COMBO, i thought it was worth a shot! It will be interesting to see if the provider of these channels changes anything now that it's been discovered, they obviously wanted to keep it secret!

Just thought, what size dish are people locking this with? 8PSK with 8/9 FEC requires a pretty high SNR, and I'm wondering if the fact I can't lock this might be more down to my 80cm dish rather than TVHeadend not tuning it properly.

Not sure what the threshold level for 8PSK 8/9 is, but i know for 9/10 it's around 10.5dB, and for 5/6 it's around 9.2dB, so i would guess it's between those 2, probably needing around 10dB to get a decent lock. I'm getting between 12-13dB here with a 1m dish.

Thanks for that! Should be able to just about hold lock on my 80cm then. The TBS 6905 card I have seems to be able to hold lock down to a pretty low signal level as well.

Judging by the signal I have on other Hispasat transponders this morning I think my alignment is slightly off, so hopefully I might have more luck with this when I've corrected it.

We have made it QUITE CLEAR numerous times on that thread that keys will not be provided. You want them - you find them elsewhere.

I have made plenty of warnings on the Albertis thread about asking for more help with the TDT DTT services. Do not ask again.
