Ok logged into the Vbox ..26 East..
Am getting the 3800R/27500 Transponder at 7.5db
What's on it that requires encryption ?
Surely not the world cup then ..as that's fta ...everywhere..

Well of course I had to blindscan 26 ..
RHCP found 3 active transponders
4037R 1824 8.3db dbs 8psk (no broadcast unless this is data ?)
4116R 3072 8.2db ACM 16psk (also data presumably)
and of course 3800R 27500 (BEIN) encypted
just about to scan LHCP

Of course You sure must blindscan it. All serious dx:ers do that many times a day. Also here my wife almost become angry when (as she says) i never watch anything, only scanning and scanning

Not a hint of anything in LHCP ...but at least I have another sat location logged ..which means shifting my stored Vbox positions to accommodate it.
Can't do this until the dead zone behind the Troublesome Tree is once more illuminated ..ie Winter.
So for now it will stay at position 65

Never thought to try 26E in C... mainly because I have a house in the way of it! Still, getting 5.4dB on 3800R, 6dB oon 4037R and 6.7dB on 4116R - no lock on any of these, though

Not a sniff here with any of the sat boxes. I will try it again with the PC Card.
