@ peeter , i'll try and find time to change the C-extended to RHC today and see what strength it comes in at. In the past i have managed to get very intermittent lock occasionally but really needs a bigger dish as Feedsat says...... i'll give it a go anyway. ;)

Hemi West signal must be not more than 20-22dbW (?) in UK , needs then 5m dish...?
And East signal is 40dbW, needs 110cm-150cm.

40.5 west. Ext-C. 6983 card, RHC. Freq 4544- 8.1dB..reduced....jpg 40.5 West ..Ext Cband Circular.... reduced..jpg @peeter ... this info is for a CM 1.8 offset, using a ADL / AVComm poloriser barrel into a JRC extended C-band lnb located just north of Nottingham UK and looking at the East Hemi footprint.
Just as Feedsat reported, 4544 RHC just does not quite lock with 8.1 dB and just needs a bit more , the weather here has been overcast all day and might have a very very slight effect. I will continue to monitor RHC for a few days and document dB levels.
Receiver choice has an effect as well, my TBS6983 pc card did not capture as much as my Amiko A3 did. I will try another receiver as well like the TM5402 HD Mk3.

The difference in levels from LHC to RHC can be seen in the analyser grabs.

Ohh so close to the required magic 9dB.

Had lock at 8.6 dB .... just, with sound and picture break up but un-watchable :(
If only somebody made a 2mtr off-set just to get me that little extra lol.

found it, thanks Chris1979, managed to scan in 150 channels, strange though your strongest is one of the weaker signals here in the midlands.
It measures 5.6db 40% using tm5402, i have others 12.2db 86%(3679v)

Here in the States, I can lock 3 extended C Band signals on SES-6. This is with a 3 meter dish.

4641 L 30000 SNR=8.2 - Net 264, 1 channel
4581 L 30000 SNR=10.3 - Viacom, 17 scrambled channels
4543 R 20659 SNR=8.1 - 4K uHD, 4 channels

The C Band channels on Eutelsat 65w A are, as far as I know, all in the 4500 to 4800 MHz range. Conveniently, it has been testing next door to SES-6. But I haven't seen any activity there, other than a unmodulated beacon at 4800 MHz horizontal, and that disappeared few weeks ago.

Normal C band coverage for us enthusiasts is from 3.400 to 4.200 with signals either H, V, LHC or RHC and generally uses 5.150 LO as you know. "Extended C band" is a term loosely used by us enthusiasts for the reception between 4.500 to 4.800 with a LO of 5.75 (mine is 5.76). I can receive and just lock LHC sigs on 40.5West on my 1.8 CM offset ..... RHC sigs will just not lock for me. Ideally 3metre dish or bigger for good solid signal locks. There's not a great deal to look at on Extended C band for us meer mortals with small dishes and standard basic receive equipment but it's exciting to try.
Google search for Extended C band lnb and it will bring up some hits.

Wouldn't it be nice to just alter the LO, sadly not tho :).
The one i use as shown in the pic is a JRC , other types are available from Norsat, SMW etc

.... would someone with Extended Cband check 4544 R on 40.5 West please. Scanned it this morning showing the usual thats there but my 5402 Mk3 rx today identified the channel "TELESUR" as being present but would not capture or save it. "TELESUR" is normally on 4119 R.

I'm seeing a signal at 4544 R, but it's too weak to lock. Isn't 4544 R the SES Ultra HD Demo Channel?
