NSS 806 has been moved to a new slot at 47.5 West.

I am abused 40.5W been my "secret dream" for years. In fact I bought C-band dish because of latin channels what I will get from there. In the past as a dx-listener these latin channels were my favourites because of speedy/exotic programmes.

So, at long last I catched 40.5W (few trees "dead" before etc.) and only and surely only channel I get is horse racing channel from Argentina (Hipodromo de San Isidro) 4045R. Not any kind of signal from other freqs., only few hours per day horses.

But it took only year with c-band dish to get even those horses, so maybe next year I will get some relig. channel next

I get plenty from there with just a 1.5m dish. Mostly Venezuelan propaganda.

Even Venezuelan propaganda would rocks once ´cause not seeing them. But there still might something to do with dish/motor fine tuning hopely. Its only 3.1° here far north.

if you have lock open new threat (its looks H/V not Rz-/L)

Sorry, nothing here. But if it is SES5 (C-band) Global beam it would be strongest in Africa and maybe needs quite big dish here though its strongest Ku-satellite here.

Congrats! I still get only 4045R and otherwise after more than 20 years with sat-dx, never seen any channel from Honduras. BUT with new Lnb this thing will change (hope so...).

Are you seeing anything on any other frequencies - even if they are below lock?

Too bad folks. I scanned Ses 6 last weekend with my qviart unic receiver and 132 open channels scanned in with my 8' fortec solid and my lnbf with dilectric plate inserted.

on the new satellite I get 270 channels but quite a few are scrambled but there is a very lot that's free to air also some high SR are better in the evening.

I am surprised you get that many... I only get 132 channels on a blind scan from 36 transponders.
