Hey AS, whats your opinion over the situation with this satellite. Its lightly loaded isnt it, is there likely to be more channels appearing in the future do you think? I realise we dont have the Eastern beam and its early in its life but as a newbie compared to yourself it would be good to know what you think.....Especially as it booms in here in Lesterland.

Im sure there will be more channels eventually. Its a typical chicken & egg problem. To get more channels on board the operator needs to show a demand for them.

To get a demand the operator needs to attract more channels to the platform



To be honest Im pleasantly surprised just how strong the 46E "west beam" channels are here in the UK & 45E/46E is now an attractive slot for eastern European channels to find a home.

Azerspace 1 has just 12 * 36 MHz transponders for Ku-band (in the range 10.95...11.20 MHz), so is already pretty well used!

Al Manar has been fta on Badr-4 @ 26 east for over 10 months now ? http://www.flysat.com/badr.php

Maybe they only take into account 28 east/19 east/13 east ect ?

No sign of either here so I suspect as usual thee are not actually on the Euro beam but on the Asia beam.

11061H is marginal here - lots of stutter on the signal.
