But they are steady no fluctuations - no card yet so no picture , but as you know signal strong here anyway.

Yes mate it has a cam slot, i have official irdeto cam that I used to activate my showtime card, but my card is not currently active, waiting for them to activate it so I can test ASAP.

Signal locking now, seems to have got stronger.

Signal - 80%
Quality - 40%

Before it was jumping 0% to 40% and locking for less then a second...

I guess the signal must peak around this time.

Shame my cards not active yet

no mate there is no wind and my other reciever is constantly over 50%

Gary, before you go to all the bother of sending it back, why not try it on a more easily received transponder from 26°E? If it picks up say 12207V which comes through quite strongly here at least you can prove the receiver works and it may be a tuner sensitivity issue. I assume the new receiver has more than the Footy transponders on it?

Hi,

The reciever does work, however its around 20%-30% lower on signal on all transponders.

Where as Johns is identicle signal on technomate/humax...

My tuner is EXTREMELY weak... where as johns seems ok :/

Setup the box myself! the preset settings from ADMC are incorrect!
