did you lock .. 11052 H 8518 (much weaker) i,v been around home all today so i left the setup on this one .. got a brief lock this morning enough to scan the channels but had no lock since ....

I can only recall locking one transponder nelson, it was a day I was tweaking the dish and checking signal levels. I will take another look when its a clear day

I did a terrestrial transmission scan today and noticed few channels in Israel have started testing.

Ch 1 HD (Main Israel national channel IBA Ch 1)
Ch 9 (In Russian)
Ch 20
Ch24 (Music)
Ch 30 (In Arabic)

It is highly possible that Ch 1 HD in FTA would start transmitting from Amos 7, hopefully in the near future.
The other channels will continue to be paid channels from Yes and Cable company Hot.

I am getting very good signal from 12288H and 12348H this morning at nearly 9dB! Last week I was unable to lock it at all - not sure if it's permanent or a blip. And it's drizzling here too...



12315H is 7.7dB - which is about the same as it was before.

This also could be the result of daily movement of the satellite. If you check signal during the day, I am pretty sure, levels will be different. Remember my post #121 in this thread?

I get this transponder every afternoon with a 100cm it stays visible for a few hours then disappears until the next day

Just checked it out & I am now getting a good signal in the morning

9:15 am 62% Quality on TM6902HD.

I have scanned 4 West quite often lately.
Hoping to get something.I didn't expect to get anything.
I was surprised to see 12315 H yesterday .
Gone today.I will have another look this afternoon

12315H comes in most of the time here. 12348H and 12288H are still visible here but a dB down on yesterday at the same time. Have around 1dB margin here but will probably lose it in the afternoon.

Strangely, signal level variations on 12315H are different from 12348H and 12288H, so perhaps daily wobble along with providers playing with power levels?
