..Are you referring to my orthomode Llew ??
It has both H & V outs suitable for our use ...but the uplink port as you say is much higher frequency ...
It's just a pity that the Ka band H/V outs are so close together making mounting 2 lnbs difficult ..unless they are long and thin like the Norsats ...and ideally a little thinner.

No VS, just checking the ones on the site CH was pointing to.
As you say, your orthomode would be fine if it was possible if the ports matched our LNBs.

I did actually find a WR-51 flanged right angled waveguide on ebay ...
Located in Israel ..but a bit pricey at £4o+ and postage ..
But I shall keep my eyes peeled..
Might make my OMT useful one day ...with some modding of course.

Ok ...spotted this and of course I just _had_ to have it ..
No idea just what frequencies are covered ..
No idea if it needs an SUP-2400 ..
No idea if it is dual polarity ..
No idea if it is just Ka band A or B ..or both ..
No idea if it will be any use at all ...but looked small ..relatively compact and interesting ..so nabbed it as it is legacy and a bit of a rarity ..
Cant find out much about it ..so posted on Ricks ..?
Maybe someone knows there ..though DirecTV play their cards pretty close to their chests ..keeping sat enthusiasts over there in the dark for the most part..
Still ..at £25 delivered ..a must have imo..

My grateful thanks to Crazycat for helping me get this 1.0.1.88 special version running ..
The key ..make sure ALL correct and relevant files dependancies are in place before running it..
Streamreader etc
Make sure the most recent BDA driver is installed ..
Then I was able to use the Inverto lnb option ..and modify to suit ..as it uses the reversed display relative to scan.
LO 20451 (20450)
range start 18300 ...end 18800
select diseqc console and send raw cmd E2 03 00 to switch SUP-2400 on ..and scan

All correct now ..
Nice ..
Hi VS, would you be kind enough to upload Crazyscan 1.0.1.88 for me? I want to be able to change the LO in the Ka Inverto option, but it always reverts to the default 21200 in my Crazyscan versions.

Thanks in anticipation :)

If any of our US/Canadian members have info I'd very much appreciate it..

It's a Ku LNB from a kit for Alaska & Hawai where you need two 1.2 metre dishes to get signals from the 5 DirecTV satellites: DTVAH1019KIT + DTVAHKAKUKIT, instead of the normal Slimline dish which is used in the continental US.

Apparently this particular LNB can only be used in this kit because it's wired different internally (it daisy chains to the other Ku LNB and then to the multiswitch inside the DTVAHKAKUKIT (two Ka and one Ku, same as the SL3)
