Arabsat 2C Ku-band

Hi

Recently arabsat launched the Arabsat 2C Ku-band Transponder. how to receive this one. I live in Europe. i wanna receive at least this Ku-band transpodner, cause it carries Good Arabic Channel, So can i receive it with a digitale receiver. if so, do i need special software cause my digitale receiver has not Arabsat 2C but only arabsat 3A. this one i receive now. i have a dish of 90 Cm

Well shes engineered for Ku band, with 28 C-band transponders & 28 Ku-band transponders so its theoretically possible

Arabsat will launch two new Sats 4A and 4B by the end of this year and the beginning of next year which will replace the current fleet. I think you got something wrong there.

Could be the case that it was launched recently and yes it is FTA but nevertheless it is C-BAND and not KU-BAND. Look at the frequencies 3716

C-Band requires C-BAND LNB's and much larger dishes than for KU-Band.

ziad, you are getting confused somewhere. There is indeed a digital package on Arabsat 2C, but its most defintely broadcasting on C-Band frequencies, NOT Ku band.

So you require C-band kit if you want it. (Big dish, C-band lnb, and a suitable receiver)

No - you require a proper C-band LNB for these channels.

in that Case i cant watch the Digital Sat Arabsat 3A, i have to Choose one of them and this Sucks, cause i have only one digital receiver, i have no analouge receiver plus no another dish

do u know maybe how to solve this one
