According Flysat Badr 4 now is empty !
This information is not correct because 4 frequency's is acually still on Badr 4:
12092 V
12111 H
12130 V
12182 H

Over in NL, I have seen impressing change in signal strengh on All Kass channels this week! 12245 Hor.
The same applies to Kuwait transponder 12532 H

I see claims that except for the ones mentioned above, all other Badr4 Emea TP's have now moved to badr8

I am honestly in doubt about this! No change at all where it concers Saoudi TP 12149H nor for 12073 where TV5 has it's channels such as Style. Having said this, both of these frequencies have a bit of interference from 28 and or 23.5 east. But so do the Alkass and Kuwait TP!

No it is not as far as I know, several TP's for sure are on the old one still and need to change parameters too.

What is the official source? Flysat or Lyngsat claims are not a reliable source in this. they just publish what all their correspondents send them.

I am convinced that Arabsat is still gradually doing those transfers from 4 to 8. However, indeed the majority is now already on Badr8,

Change is observable here in Finland. Some people are seeing transponders for the first time, Badr4 reception is limited here. 100% sure, move to Badr8 happened already 12.12

There seems to be a lot of confusion over what has moved and what hasn't! From what I can tell, everything has moved except the following:

11938V
11977V
12073H
12111H
12149H

This is purely my opinion and I could be wrong! The above freqs are the the ones I've had no change on, still getting the same signal level as I've had for years, no stronger, no weaker. Maybe they have moved, but they are just weaker than the others from my location, that's possible of course!

I can confirm that. More then 1 - 1.5 db stronger then before, frequency is the same as before...

Yes it does look like Yemen has moved from Badr-4 to Badr-8
No change in frequency or symbol rate as mentioned earlier in this thread.

Moves confirmed to Badr-8 @ 26°east
BBC News on Badr-8 is at the same signal strength as it was on Badr-4 no change 59% SQ,
Euronews is much stronger 82% now (I am surprised it is not in HD now ?) 100% SQ @ 13°east in HD,
Most Arabic tv & BBC Arabic,France 24 & Sky News (In Arabic) are much stronger now 84% SQ on Badr-8

If you need BBC News HD it is 100% SQ @ 19.2°east
