I think i have the EC version.

my info
Hardware Version: BS-8100 PLUS
Software Version: $SSHA3745S170EC
Database Version: 00600001
Boot Version: 0016.1

So in order to upgrade this i need to first convert (Using AUChedit and the info bolded above?) then flash the boot file. Then Convert the software/forimware then flash?
Im gonna flash the software/firmware with S170EC_$SPR_A6684_20060126_AUCPCnc.auc
So whats the boot file i need to be compable with this file?

Will the new software/firmware open up n2 encrytion?

be aware u need to convert the firm header for ur receiver.
for that u use AUCHedit 0.95 that is also available on that link([PROGRAMY ] section).
i think u can also use Easy Arioner1.2 witch does all needed conversions automatically.

latest firm available is now version 6686.
it opens D+(spain Nagra2) and TVKABO (portugal Nagra2) broadcasts.

in order to properly convert firm with AUcHedit 0.95 u need to:

1)Know what is ur decoder firmware head settings.
use auchedit, open one firmware u are absolutely sure that works fine on ur decoder, and take note what the 3 strings it displays in the yelow, blue and green fields are.

2)open the new firmware and replace the 3 strings u will find with the ones u have writed down.

3)hit "Update Info", "Corr. Size" and "Calc. ChSum" buttons before saving the new converted firmware version.

thats it u are ready to update ur decoder.

i think u dont need a new boot version, but if u want too u can download 20.1 version here _http://www.badongo.com/file.php?file=VOID__2006-02-16_boot_20.1.ace

I downloaded the above file and after inspection the file is for the S150EC.
Further investigation with notepad I found this file did not match the patter of others file I have used so I would not use this upgrade, it might be OK but personally, I would not risk it.

I live in the U.S., so i dont know if it will open up D+ N2.
Can I get yours salvador?
Im glad i dont need to up date the boot vesion cause u can mess up the software but still reflash, but you cant reflash a boot file..

I see some encryition name TP? is that for entering N2 keys?

So far when i use this bin on t5 97w i only get software upgrade on some channels. will this bin allow to enter globec@st keys?

I'm glad you managed to upgrade your stb.

I don't know anything about T5 97W...sorry, but I'm sure somebody here will be able to help you.

I just wanted to say that TPS is where you enter keys for the TPS Fench channels.

Hi all,
Does anyone know how to enter N2 keys into AF-1700E ? I mean : there's entries for Na**avi*ion in CAS menu, but I think it is related to N1 encryption ? (for example for ident 4101 (D*), I have a 32 character long key, how do I manage to enter it, should I split it into 00 and 01, both 16 character long ?)
Please enlighten me on this point

i was wondreing if you could help me..?
i have a fixed sat system on hotbird but have just got hold of a double monoblock lnb to allow me to get astra 19.2 as well. after connecting my new lnb i still can not seem to get astra..? maybe im doing something wrong..? hope you can help as i think you have the same set up and stb as myself and you have helped me before on this forum.

Ok I found how to do : for example for 4101, keys 00 and 01 correspond to N1, and have to create 02 and 03 for N2 in another ident 4101 (and not use the two remaining that are blank on previous ident)

For information, I also uploaded 6687 firmware, it works well and reopen D*

For T*S, nothing else : new crypting imposes to change the T*Scrypt key every day and not only for mu*t*v*on, but for all channels begining with T*S (C*nest*r, C*nefam*ly,...)

I'm currently trying to open A*T channels on V2 ident 015000 on H*tbird. I'll let you know some other time

I tried this for 119W for DickNet but it doesnt work. can u give us an example:

Ex) 4101 Keys

Hello to all Arioners ....

I have Openbox x610 = Arion 1900 CNCI

I was so "stupid" and before i read all this forum posts ...i get "8888" ..on my receiver

I check some russ + greek sites ...found 17.1 firmware and imediately i "flash" the receiver with arioner 024 .... of course i obtai "8888" and NOTHING WORKING ..

17.1 was from other model ...and my models last version is 16.1 (and was alrady inside my recever) .. Ufff

3 days i try to put original 16.1 inside with all softwares ..NO SUCCESS

Some guys told me :last solutions JTAG ...i stdy problem...to complicate for me

And i decide to go ahead ....and finally my repair work was SUCCESFULY ...

HOW : i download lot of *buc files and i try to flash receiver...some works ..some no... and after any succesflu upload i try again with original 16.1 buc file.....and after 2 days SUCCES ... i upload 16.1 and receiver WORK AGAIN

HELP with AUC files

I have now original on my receiver
I decide to start "flash" some *.auc files..i already found them ....last one is :.....OpenBOX-X610_X620/S192CNCI_%24SPH_A6687_20060315_AUCPCnpc.zip.

Question ?1? : This file include all previous ???? Or i need to start flashing file by file from my version to this ersion...approx 25 files ?????

?2? With this file inside receiver ..i obtain MAXIMUM from my receiver ..... where can i found a list with "unblocked" chanels that a *.auc file contain ????

?3? I activate my menu for "k**s" ...for what is needed ??? as long i flash *.auc file....do i need to type manually keys ???? or this *auc files include alreadyy all this keys ????

A very interesting experience I must say, thanks for sharing it with us.

I will try to answer your questions.

Q 1: You just need the last update - you can bypass the updates in between.

Q2: I don't understand your 2nd question.

Q3: When you flash your receiver with the latest .auc file the keys are there already, however, some keys may have changed already and in that case you have to upgrade the keys manually through your remote control.
