Pity 2F and 2C are next to each other...
Thats probably deliberate too....
Pity 2F and 2C are next to each other...
My guess is at the end of the year or early next year, depending on when the Russians can get their rockets sorted out...when will 2G start?
If that's what you believe.( like those three other transponders from 2F to E28A)...
Like I keep saying you need to check your skew. Doesn't matter how powerful 2C is setting your LNB skew correctly and that transponder will not show on the horizontal spectrum.Do we know if the data signals from 2C are permanent (until 2G comes into service) or are they test transmissions? The lower signals from Astra 2E/2F became a real problem in our daily life this morning when the picture pixelated during Peter Rabbit on Cbeebies (10773H) this morning... Usually we would watch the channel in HD at 11023H.
For me it is more or less the same strength as all the other 2F transponders. SNR is unaffected by the 2C signal. But if skew is wrong by as little as 1º you start to see the 2C signal on the horizontal spectrum.can I assume the 11023H should be about as strong?
It only has a European beam.Do you know that does 2C have a European beam or just UK beam?
thanks
The data signals on many of these frequencies have been active in some form for quite some time (even before 2C came back to 28.2E), so I don't think they are tests but I don't think anyone here knows for sure really how long or what satellites they'll use in the future.
SES can be quite secretive when it comes to these things, so we may not know until something happens (and even then it can sometimes be a bit of a guess trying to work out from which satellite a signal is coming from). When will this be of public knowledge, after 2G is launched? This useless 2C is getting on my nerves..
