Now I know what they meant in the press release:" ... Over the coming weeks, BSkyB, Channel4, ITV and BBC programming in this arc will be transitioned to the new satellite with its powerful footprint over the British Isles..."
I wondered, but I think its bad transaltion into english. What they meant was "in this order". And last nights migration seems to proove that.

So Channel4 should be next, then ITV and then BBC. Agreed??

The active Astra 1N transponders between 11.700 and 12.500 aren't switched over to the Astra 2E, yet?

Comparing the dB values of 1 Feb and now, most transponders that are reportedly switched to 2E increased between 1 and 3 dB. But the 1N transponders 12090V and 12226H also improved, maybe they switched?

I think 12344H of 2A also switched to 2E, with + 2.6 dB.
Edit: yes Solly reported this one already.

Thanks for that, didn't see your post. How is 12207V, carrying Sky News, as this was on 1N PE beam, not too hot in the Canaries but if improved then could have switched.

SES won't do too much too soon so don't expect the 1N PE TP's to have all moved too yet.

The transponders with QVC and with CNN decreased (12.032H and 12.051V). On the other hand the transponders with the Box and Viva increased (12.480V and 11.895V). But as expected no real differences here.

C0re although you're nearby to me, the 4 transponders you mentioned hardly changed here.
Can you give your nearest city or coordinates (just curious)?

Hmz than the 2A is imflicted by the change over? 12032H and 12051V are lower in comparison with the rest. I thougt all tranponders of the 2A switched. I haven't checked those two tranponders for a while.

I checked 12207 with Sky News and that transponder increased here. That was one of the lower strength tranponders of the 1N here (relatively).

This is like watching paint dry. It looks like there is TPs left on 2A ( they dont want to change all at once or some are destined for 2F ? ). Hopefully soon we get to see the UK spot.

12207 V is not coming in on the Canaries. I do not think it has moved.

Down here all those Freqs that moved from 2A to 2E had a dramatic increase of more than 5db....I give an ex with Sky News HD. I used to receive this with a 10db signal, now its 15.5db!!..another channel Sky Premier HD. This was giving me before a 9.6db. Now its 14db!! Itv's 2 -3 - 4 HD registering 15db!.

Agree, same here - no 12207v.

For some reason I seem to have lost a bit of signal from 2f - 10964v, 10994h and 11053h are now 50% quality (was 60%) but still 75% strength on my Humax and I have lost 11023h and 11126v. Maybe caused by something else but weather here is clear.

12207V is SNR 75% here, whereas the migrated transponders are all showing an SNR in the region of 80 - 85%...that's on a TD88 (as part of the multi sat) with a Smart Titanium LNB off focus by about 8 degrees
