We've lost around 30 channels today. National Geographic HD, Good Food HD, Eurosport2 SD, Motors and other sports channels, Euronews and a number of other News channels along with a number of movie channels amongst them. I'll try and do a definitive list tomorrow.

That seems to be a mixture of Astra 2A North and Astra 2F Europe channels. No major changes here in Finland, but I did notice Astra 2F was a tiny bit stronger than normal tonight.

Not sure about that Timo, I'm fairly confident that we don't receive either. I know that we get 2A South and fairly confident that we get 2E, 1N and 2F are not receivable by us to the best of my knowledge.

I'd be surprised if you can't get 2F Europe beam under normal conditions on a 1.25m dish (unless it's measured using the longest width, in which case it might be a little on the small side but I would have thought it would get something at times).

But then I don't know your area, I'm just going by the SES footprint maps.

Receiving all the channels you mention here in Lanzatote on a 1.2M dish no problem.
Maybe something your end.

Are you sure you've not got water in your works somewhere after the storms? With a 1.2m and IBU in Caleta we can get 2F Europe as well as the ITV2, 3 and 4HD when they were on 2A North. All with decent signal strengths.
I am over in a couple of weeks so will check them out.

Sacking Sky off shortly so it won't really matter soon. :-ohmy)

Ummm, confessions to make a apologies for casting aspersions to you know who. All channels back, being received loud and clear. Had occasion to go on 2nd floor roof to effect repairs to counter the most rain we've had in 4 years, relentless. The right hand stay for the LNB has rotted away, have it all pulled together with duct tape until I can get a replacement stay. At least it's working again.

You see, all this talk of skew angles and the 'best' lnb is twaddle, all you need is a good supply of duct tape! :-lol

ITV3&4 HD lost here last Wednesday and the "other channels" frquency given in another thread finds nothing.

Anyone else having to re-boot the box every few days? It just stopped functioning yesterday, last time last Wednesday, but this time took around 20 minutes to get it working again. I don't know if this is peculiar to me or even the model of box, a DRX 890z. Anyone else experiencing strange goings on.
