2E results that you point out are with 10 dB strength ?
which LNB are you using IBU single moded to PFA ?
how about your Gilbertini 1.50 dish - did you compare gain to 1.5 PFA - winner ?
If the signal would have been 10 dB,I would have received all transponders in subband. What is impossible in my area with 1.50 m PFA dish!It is the exact the dish from my Avatar.
I don't know how it is in other parts of Europe, but in my area the signal variation is very high in the morning and during the day. From 5% during the day sometimes reached 29% in the morning between 6:00 and 7:30 EET, and, of course, depends on the weather conditions.Fortunately in the cold(winter) season the signal is stronger and help weak signal reception.
But, in fact, what helped me to receive several transponders was the fact that I used a combination of unusual for a PFA, about which I wrote
here ,which for you is not a novelty.
I can assure you that this combination is the best for those who cannot afford to buy very expensive LNB from Noorsat or SMW.And I would say that it is even better than invacom c120 flange lnb!!!I must admit that is a solution of an amateur, but efficiency is well above expectations.Without IBU with scalar rings I wouldn't have been able to receive Astra 2E.
On this occasion, in fact, I checked the sensitivity of the TBS6983 tuner, which is also exceeds expectations .For this reason I have posted on this topic.
Unfortunately about Gilbertini I can't say anything because I haven't tested the signal with such an antenna.
Until proved otherwise, the winner...is my antenna, made of aluminum and brought from Hungary in 1992.I have two such antennas.
