Astra 2E: Testing at 43.5E

You can not see the signal cos it's demodulated!

I have a Vu+ running enigma2 . Is there any way for me to give a signal report? I tried for about half an hour and night and did add 43.5 e but never could see a signal on the meter. Are these carrier only and would ve2 ignore them

There is no way to see those signals on the VU+, or any other DVB receiver without a spectrum analyzer. Although you could see those signals with an analogue receiver, as an unmodulated, black screen...

Looks like a bit more of a hurry up with this. 2F didn't have any testing at weekends.

I think ses astra want to hurry testing signal have big dealy two month
to finish two or three week

@AHMET,For now it is too early to make a comparison between the signal from 2E and 2F.Test signal from Astra 2E is quite weak in my area,is at the limit.

could you explain? It could be any modulated signal but it's unreadable for my 5925. The only thing you could estimate from the envelope is the roll-off

roll-off is the steepness the signal cuts off at both sides of the carrier.

The signals are modulated, however they use modulation types we cannot demodulate. They also have a loop of different constellations, they repeat all the time.
They use those signals to test the TWTAs.

Do not forget that Astra 2E is at 44.5 degrees now-20:42 local time and not 43.5E after N2YO
