Ohhhh... sorry... a blonde moment there!
I wish - this is when things go crazy for me - 1.9, 2.4 and 3M dishesGood idea: A toast to solid and reliable signals in the UK, with a tiny dish, for years to come!
Thank you very much endeed!!!Looks like she'll be there or thereabouts late tomorrow, but the rest is guesswork: SES-Astra have previously said that the transfers would take place over a period extending to mid-February, but then again they may well have been sandbagging.

The dispute concerned a right of use of 500 MHz spectrum at the 28.5 degrees East orbital position. Eutelsat ceased to operate this spectrum on 3 October 2013 and SES has operated this spectrum since that date. The dispute over this right of use has now been resolved, with SES continuing to operate its satellites at this location, and Eutelsat independently commercialising part of the capacity of the previously disputed frequencies. - See more at: http://www.ses.com/4233325/news/2014/16846982#sthash.vFNpEaxN.dpuf

..The 20 transponders will be operated on three new satellites which SES is deploying at the 28.2/28.5 degrees East neighbourhood – ASTRA 2F, ASTRA 2E and ASTRA 2G – of which the first two have been launched and are operational, while the third is planned for a launch later this year. - See more at: http://www.ses.com/4233325/news/2014/16846982#sthash.vFNpEaxN.dpuf
That is what all the gingers sayOhhhh... sorry... a blonde moment there!
I would be very suprised if SKY move to a UK spotbeam for exactly this reason - the loss of revenue. The operators interested in moving, and with nothing to lose, are the ones on Freesat - the BBC, ITV et al. that are NOT part of a SKY package. The SKY digiboxes provide these channels but SKY do not opérate them.Indeed so, here in Cyprus also. They will lose many subscriptions, why are they so keen to reduce their revenues?
1000s of people outside UK have SKY cards on a UK address, we know it, SKY know it. They don't want to
know unless you are stupid enough to tell them - then they cut you off.
I have had SKY in Cyprus since 1998. Now we are to lose it.
Very sad. Very sad indeed.
Viktor Mustafa.
So if I've understood correctly that sounds like Eutelsat 28A will be shut down and 2E/2F/2G will eventually take over the rest of the Eutelsat frequencies and operate some on behalf of Eutelsat?
