On my 125, HD normally dies between 17.00 and 19.00, but the last few days has been there until I went to bed!How is your reception (HD channels like BBC One/Two HD) between 8pm and 11pm? I am having trouble to get a signal during these hours.
2e is receivable in Frankfurt on an 80 cm 24/7-.The weakest is BBC1HD right now at 69% SNR but it is raining as we speak. Rained quite badly all last night and snr stayed at 65% from 7-11pm local time(Peak viewing time). I think I have got off very lightly with 2e and 2f. I was expecting to have to change my dish............... As for Münich- the reports on German Forums are very varied with some claiming reception on 120cm others not. East of the Rhine reception becomes much less easy to accurately predicti can ask in germany or munchen or frankfurt 1,5m
it work channel spot beam on 2e ?

Yes, I think I will have to upsize.Marp probably a 1.2m dish as a minimum, working in Grasse for me at present in 2-6mm/hr of rain.
As we're down in France better add my own report.
5 miles south of Orange, Vaucluse.
Triax TD88 (85cm) with Quad LNB feeding a multiswitch then routed round the house.
No problems in good weather with either 2E or 2F spot beam in good weather. It's possible that the 2E spot beam is slightly stronger than the 1N was here as when we had some moderate rain on Saturday evening (just after we arrived) there was no drop-out even on the HD channels.
I await with interest some heavier rain.
Check out Analoguesat's reception reports - link is in his sig. I see someone in Potenza gets SD with 3.4m.Hello to all,
haven't been back here much since i am retired from the satellite business.
Looks like BBC and ITV has left our area since the switch over. Does anyone know if Cypress can pick it up with their big 4 meter dish systems? Also all 2 meter dishes can no longer pick it up here in the Naples area. I know someone that is mounting a 4 meter dish, not me, and i can keep you informed as he has laid the base and will be finished in the weeks to come.
