Can you get 2E? If so, try a slight bump West, seems to be working in some areasmy channel master 1.80m wiht no signal all astra2g transporters Turkey/balikesir
I know this will sound daft! But if you moved the dish one bump East during the evening would this help 2E?Getting better ! Now I get c5's bbc 2 hd, cbs drama and a few others from around breakfast to early evening without any dish moving whilst still keeping all the usual channels on 2e. The evenings on 2e are still fading out for the prime time most evenings.
Yes I was doing just that each night but last night I didn't lose 2e so I left it and have again today received the 2g c5's etc so fingers crossed the signal's are improving. For example to start off I only got c5's and cbs drama but today the bbc 2 hd channel and some others were working.I know this will sound daft! Also they are both on slightly different elevations so one click up/down also appears to get you a better signal !I know this will sound daft! But if you moved the dish one bump East during the evening would this help 2E?

Sorry, just a little confused. Pics state 28.2 and text states 23.5. If I looked at 23.5 I´d get Astra 3.Arta, Greece with OP 125 pointed @ 23.5E.
The LNB is offset and looking at 28.2E, the dish face is looking at 23.5E.Sorry, just a little confused. Pics state 28.2 and text states 23.5. If I looked at 23.5 I´d get Astra 3.
I know location makes a difference to where you actually point the dish, but I can´t get my head round this!
Thanks for that, multi LNB set up, but if the LNB is looking at 28.2 ish, isn´t that more relevant than where the dish is pointing? ( Just to help me and other new members )The LNB is offset and looking at 28.2E, the dish face is looking at 23.5E.
Ah but the fact that the dish is not looking directly at 28.2E means it's not as efficient. The further the LNB is away from the centre the less signal it picks up. So Serafeim is just warning us his 1.25m dish will be under-performing a little. Thanks for that, multi LNB set up, but if the LNB is looking at 28.2 ish, isn´t that more relevant than where the dish is pointing? Thank you Master Timo, Grasshopper has learnt some moreAh but the fact that the dish is not looking directly at 28.2E means it's not as efficient. Not your fault, my under-intellect!Sorry for being confusing.
From left to right: 13°E, 16, 19.2, 23.5 (center), 26, 28.2, 31.5 / 33°E
It is to play with the reflected signal at the antenna, an antenna of 80cm each 6º to put a displaced LNB, estimated to be as losing 5cm diameter antenna. Thanks for that, multi LNB set up, but if the LNB is looking at 28.2 ish, isn´t that more relevant than where the dish is pointing?
