I'm just logging the shut down of 28A and start of 2G here. I'm leaving any moves between Sky transponders on 2E/2F and the FEC changes which aren't immediately related to 28A/2G.

11582H now active with same channels as 11464H. Judging by the power output appears to be 2G Euro beam.

I have a Xtrend ET 6500.

My dish is a Wave Frontier T90 and I make reception from 42 east to 1 west.

I use 14 lnbs with diseqc 16x1 emp.

I would like to ask you about 2F transponders 73, 74, 75, 76 that will migrate to 65, 67, 95 & 96 from 02.07.15.

The new transponders (65, 67, 95 & 96) will be again on Astra 2F or on Astra 2G or Astra 2F ?

I'm guessing 2G since it seems all other transponders in those bands are also on 2G, but we'll have more details once they are switched on.

So much for Sky doing away with zone 2 dishes in fringe areas - with FEC 8/9 on 2G Europe they will almost certainly still be needed.

Why? As I saw it they use QPSK with DVBS-2 and FEC 8/9 which needs about 6.2dB SNR. Any dish capable of receiving HD with DVBS-2 8PSK with FEC 2/3 will be suitable as that needs 6.6dB SNR.

But: Can someone point me to a list giving the Frequencies according to the transponder numbers? Thanks...
