Did you or any other satellite hobbyist you know (in any other language portal) made any signal quality comparison between professional AV-comm polariser and Brazilian type pins/rivets polariser ?Yes - myself and forum member 'Trust' have built replicas.
I have also purchased the poloriser from AV-Comm as well.

Australian Dollar seems at a good point against our £Pound..... Enquired to AV-Comm for the latest shipping costs to the UK ... see pic. Tech support tells me barrel is not particularly sharp and should operate in Extended C-band 4.5-4.8GHz without any appreciable loss. Awaiting final cost from...www.satellites.co.uk
