Badr 4, Signal strength increase?

Im here in Dublin and have very little problems with badr 4 and the mbc beam there usually around 60-70 quality this is using a triax 1.1m with .2db titanium.

I cant pick up even a small signal on badr 6 though,Does anyone have an idea of how big a dish id need to pick it up .

Much much bigger - the Badr 6 transmission footprint is slewed well south of the British Isles.

i live in manchester ,,and i hav a very big garden and i hav the dish quite big ,,but never had any complaints ,,i hav a 1.5 meter dish but am lookin 4 a big dish ,,but no 1 seems 2 do good dishes

Would of thought you'd have reasonably good results from the Gibertini 150cm you have but there are certainly larger and better dishes available.

What do you mean by a big dish? Is it for motorising? What are you trying to receive that you can't on the Gibertini?

I had a run in with the local council a few months back because my old dish was 104 high & 98cms wide. I was forced to take it down and had to replace it with a Penta 85 :mad:

We have some very strange and backward laws in the UK.

Its OK to mount a 1.5m dish on a patio stand using sandbags to hold it in place as its not classed as a permanent structure, the second you put one bolt into the ground its illegal )(-red
