The problem is, even if it is in UHD on iPlayer, it won’t be downloadable/shareable. Via computers etc only the 720p streams are available for anything in BBC iPlayer, with 1080p (and 4k) only available via compatible TVs/boxes, presumably with appropriate DRM/rights restriction.

Last year RAI just upscaled RAI HD.
That said Im sure the OB trucks have been producing it in 4K for years and archival.
