Apologies for repeating previous comment but would love to know if this could be gained in the UK and what size dish would actually do the job ? Sadly i am not sure if we have anyone with 3.7m+ dishes in the UK to check, or do we ???

@nelson_b has a 3m but he's way oop north... I think this satellite is a no-go. Probably easier to find someone in the coverage age to host a Slingbox (or similar) for you.

The 3 m i have is only setup for C band -- an initial test a month or so back for k/u performance on it , revealed it to be not much better than the 1.8 c.m. which shows nothing here for the channels you are after.

Bein 11 12 13 etc still working on 25.5E but all my customers here in Cyprus are on 7W. Going to be a busy week realigning dishes ...

According to the footprint posted by skomedal ( http://www.flysat.com/e25b-beam.php ) for Eutelsat 25B Ku-band (MENA), Cyprus receives between 50 dBW (on the east) and 49 dBW in the center of the island through to the west.

I have been told I need 1m dish - although if the footprint is accurate, a 75/80 cm dish should in theory be ok .

I will have ago re-positioning my dish (75/80) and will post to let future users know.

We are in the 49dBW zone and is coming in at about 9db on a 60cm dish.

On the plus side, apart from having spent the last few days realigning 7w dishes to 25.5e, BeIn have the EPL rights for the next three seasons again.

Hi buckshee on previous thread when we had prob with TV guide we rebooted. Can't seem o get this to work on 25.5 have you had similar problem.

I found that if the satellite box is switched "ON" and tuned to a Bein channel, if you then disconnect the power (remove the power cable from the back of receiver) it will then reset the time, once reconnected. Done it only yesterday, after a power cut. Will not work however when tuned to 28.2E.Hope this helps ;)

yes I think I tried that on different receivers realigned quite a few this week and can't get the epg to come on do you leave it in any particular channel .

I am only speaking about the clock setting. I also have no epg, on 25.5E

Further to the above, with a 1m dish signal strength shown by the Bein Pace receiver as 40% in Nicosia, Cyprus. Obviously the type and quality of the equipment affects reception.
