The ban on showing 3pm Prem games being shown here in the UK is "to protect the lower league clubs"

Its only a matter of time until this ban is rescinded one way or another - as internet speeds keep on going up its easy enough to find streams showing the games you want to watch.

I rather suspect at some point there will be a "test" where a few 3pm games a season are shown on Sky UK to evaluate what actually happens - no doubt at an extra sub for the poor UK punter

If thats the case with no multiple 3pm, then a lot of punters have been ripped off, having purchased a dedicated box.

UK punters? Aint supposed to be watching anyway so hardly been ripped off! You pays your money and takes your chances with cards showing 3pm games.

Forrin punters - get one 3pm which is better than the UK is getting - and was the same as last year so they knew what they were likely to get.

And all these services have multiple disclaimers in the small print as to what may or may not be shown.

Not to mention Bein themselves !!! Do they really know what they signed up for? Why have they not extended it to Sunday and weekdays?

Its BEINs own fault as they cant stop the cards leaking into the UK. Things have been heading this way for a few years - remember the furore when the Albanian cards had the 3pms blocked 4 or 5 years ago?

Its ONLY the 3pms that are important as we have already mentioned.

Also what if any security wise differs from AD Sports and BeinSports? Or have I missed something? i.e Box and card married together.

AD Sports is difficult to get via satellite in the UK compared to BEIN so the problem is far less.

Personally I think the FAPL are fighting a losing battle with streaming sites - legal and illegal.

Problem is they want the revenue from foreign sales of 3pms but they want to stop the UK watching. They cant have their cake and eat it - technology is moving faster than their bean counters can keep up - proxies are a 5 minute job to set up, and you can get free add ons to things like Firefox to switch your location in a few clicks.

Hi Can anyone help with the bein receiver not updating epg .
Been to customers and date was showing 1971 !
did a forced software update and receiver was updated. This week same thing not updating automatically cant find any menu with epg settings.

Wolzy67 - I had the same problem. unplug from the mains - wait 1 minute and then plug in. It senses a power cut and reboots the time clock.
I notified Humax - NO REPLY

Forgot to add. When you unplug it from the mains, make sure it is ON. and not on standby.

strange how epg not updating. Did you have only one sat running through stb.
Igot 2a on this one as well and only one giving me jip.10 orso others fine just on nilesat.

Problem occurs when used for only Bein Sports and when I added 28.2E. bloody thing drove me mad, I thought I had purchased a bummer.
I was trying everything, and I forgot to switch it off before resetting the box, and bingo.

so the same prob as mine bein sports on its own no problems. But put in diseq and other sat ie 28 .2 and problem occurs.
Thing is it ran for 3or 4 weeks no problem now twice in two weeks.
well shows that forums do work.
Shame about the choice of the 3pms ,( Richard Keys been bit quite now subs paid for !!)

Saying that think its good value for money and top quality hd.

Same problem for me too, it is intermittent though, I just rescan a tp, usually 12284 V 27500, it doesn't add to the program list but forces the time and epg information update. Plus point, I don't have to get up and unplug the box

ah another quick fix , be a little involved for customer though especially the older brigade.
I sat there for 20mins doing forced software upgrade daaa

Both were shown on Silk HD from Georgia & fta as well thanks to the muxes encryption problems!

Obviously this isnt a big player in the Prem world & its been missed they are easily available in the UK on modest sized dishes!
