Which image do you run on your DM800 clone and how is it?

I currently have the Domica 8 image but whilst it seems to have most of the features I need it's sometimes a little unstable and prone to freezes when multitasking

Or is it just a limit of the clone box?

Cheers

I am running the DreamboxUk image on my DM800se with BL84 and Sim 2.10 i also run it on my ET9000 due to it having the new linux kernel on there.

You will of course have to upgrade your bootloader to 84 and you should be fine they do a 2.01 image as well

It all depends on what you want from it, reliability or more toys.

I have found most images on my DM800 Clone quite glitchy in all honesty.

The most stable image i have come across for my box is NewEnigma2, but its a bit boring.

I'm using Nemesis 2.4 dual Enigma now and it runs quite well and has all the necessary toys you require. You will find a large selection of clone images over on Linuxsat mate.

Upgraded to BL84A and installed the latest DreamBoxUK (PLi based) image and it's at least twice as fast flicking through the menus and channel lists, I thought the remote was faulty as I had to press buttons two or three times to get it to function but it must have been either the image or the box was clogged up with rubbish before I restored.

If this starts acting up NewEnigma is the next to try on the list.

Cheers for the advice.
