I agree. We can but hope, although the situation will doubtless change eventually.

Might as well watch it while we can, after that I'll be using the Technomate for something else and the iPlayer for BBC1/Radio 6Music :)

No doubt

We'll all be doing that eventually (streaming, that is)

Hopefully everyone will have decent net connections by then.

You're lucky R. Some of my friends are lucky to get half a meg. The router is even plugged directly into the test socket on the BT master socket. It helped the throughput but they won't see any improvement until bt install a new exchange closer to them.

Here in Thailand, they're very messy with the cables, but they're not messing around.

They laid the fiber cables for the street in one morning. And rather than have an exchange, they have mini exchanges running along the main line. Similar to a cable tv distribution system.

We sync at 18 meg no probs.

When I've got more time, gonna up some pics of the 2.4m c band and the other dishes. Still haven't had a chance to test out the new ses8 tps.

For some reason they sell a lot of 'upper band' lnbs here. Not sure why, but when I've more time I'll investigate.

Also the free gifts are old Skool here. It's all android ip stream now.

Haven't bought one, haven't got time to watch tv, let alone swing the beast 2.4m round lol

This looks good doesn't it. It is WiMax here in Gran Canaria. Problem is at the peak of evening viewing the speed will drop to less than 1 Mbs due to all the expat TV streaming going on around here.
