Thanks again, where sports feeds turn up and a fair bit of dxing is involed that's all my 1.8 will be doing, I do hope I can find some new thing for us to look at and chase ,
Maybe we could put this thread in the C band section as it might encourage more peeps to post there findings and I will be busy here soon
Sounds promising, I cant wait to get stuck in (Im interested in the IRIB channels so at least i wont be stuck with nothing). I have a few questions for you guys if you dont mind, How often do you view C-Band channels, whats the best LNB to get. I appreciate this may not be the best thread to post so feel free to move it.Hi mike, I would not be put off go for it , yes we all know you wont get lots and lots of stuff but there is channels out there to be had, and for the sake of £50ish with a feed horn its not going to break the bank, if you ever upgrade you have one LNB and if you don't I am sure you will have lots of fun and pleasure getting the odd signal .
Long topic here about that Titanium. In fact I am maybe onlyone who think only positive about that Lnb Maybe it working better with mesh?
hi - martin-f -
I have good results using the titanium - pll with conical feed - on a 1.8 channel master offset
but no better than the ESX 241 or the BSC421 (same conical feed) -- to be honest, there is nothing to choose between them on my setup.

ESX241 or C1W, whichever is available and cheapest as there's no clear winner between them IME. Had satelliteguys.us not changed its software and screwed up all the old formatting you'd find a lengthy side by side comparison table I made of the two. Better to worry about the type, quality and placement of the depolarising plate for circular signals as these can effect fringe performance considerably.whats the best LNB to get.
