Can a freesat card become un-paired ?

Well,once a card is activated it should work in any box.
When you say a sub is on that card already ,do they mean a pay subscription ? Why not contact your mate and borrow the box that it belonged to and see if it works in that box ?

Yes a paid sub they said but did not elaborate on what type, can not locate the digibox it is out of so that is not a option.

The only thing I can think of is that it is a multiroom card that someone is using the original card alone now and perhaps this one has been de-activated,anyone experience this before? ta
