Picked up one of these from a charity shop yesterday. Apart from the need to clean up the volume control, everything looks good.

Will take a few images later but here is a link or two

Some images. Im not sure if the plastic used by Casio yellows after time in sunlight but this one has no such marking.

And.......

three and a half years later I acquire another classic Casio, 41 years old, manual and in excellent condition (unboxed).
Somewhere I have a suitable 7.5V psu.

A demo, including surgery.

Our music dept is still using Yamaha keyboards that are older than some of our staff! Over the years Ive taken most of them apart & repaired whateever is broken in them by cannibalising the worst ones for parts - normally the keys get broken on them by kids standing up with bags over their shoulders which catch the bottom of the keys & lever upwards on them.....

The issue with the Yamaha design is the need to completely dismantle when the cell battery needs replacing.

Somewhere upstairs is a DX21 - circa 1985 - that I know will take half a day to get going again.
