Now press the red button to select all,
Wait for this process to finish,
Now turn off the power via the power switch rear of the receiver
Leave off for 90 sec then turn the power back on,
You can now explore the contents of the new channel list.​

Many thanks as I I just loaded the above channel lists into the SX88, but kust a comment - I had use the USB file loading instructions from your post #17 as the ones at the end of post #23 didn't appear to work.

I have edited the Instructions now so leave the receiver's power off for 90sec this seems to do the trick.
Working OK here I have updated 2 receivers.

I think the issue I appeared to see was that the screen display from the SX88 gave no indication that the updated channel list was being updated when I hit the red button on the remote - so I didn't know whether or not the update was actually happening.

Sorry to have to ask, but how long do you need to "Wait for this process to finish" if you don't have any screen indication that process is proceeding and then completing?

Just remembered something I forgot to mention yesterday - after I loaded the new list into the SX88, it became immediately became available and so I didn't have to reboot the m/c.
OTOH, that didn't seem to work with the SX88+ and I'm now trying your latest method, as above, on that.

So there may be an incompatibility with this channel list & the original SX88 as there was with the Primo S2

The file content is the same but they have been compressed/ "zipped" using different algorithms - so one has a ".rar" extension and the other has a ".zip" extension. That's how @william-1 always posts such files because those wanting to use the file may have different "unzipping" Apps installed on their PC's.

OTOH, a general purpose file "zipping"/"unzipping" App like 7zip can "unzip"both (and many other) compressed file formats, and is the one that many people (including myself) use on a regular basis (and which we often set as the default App in Windows, including myself, for "unzipping" a range of compressed files).
