Channel 5 on 11306 H

my sony bravia 4k has a sat tuner as does my samsung qled

And I have several Panasonic TVs with Freesat tuners in France. Care that you get Freesat, if that's what you want, as there are some with simple satellite tuners.

Checked it on all my receivers now and there is quite a difference on all three receivers so it's not related to a specific recevier.

11306 H used to be around 9,5 - 9,7 db. 11306 V, 11344 H/V used to be and still are around 10,9 - 11,1 dB.

Now is 11306 H at the same level as the others. Checking it now and it is at 11,0 dB.

So not much difference at all really.

The reason I started this tread was the fact 11306 H was weaker than 11306 V and 11344 V/H.
Now when this is fixed I only wanted to mention it.

Up to 1,5 dB more makes the margin in bad weather quite a bit better.
A good thing is 11306 H uses FEC 2/3 whilst the other use FEC 5/6.

Can you receive anything from 11306 V and 11344 V/H?

Yes 10964 H was a bit better here too.
The weakest here by far is 11053 H which I can't get all day.
The second weakest is 12129 V which comes in at about 9 dB.
Not sure if 12129 is on 2E or 2F. Flysat says 2E and Lyngsat 2F.

12129V is 2E, easy to see difference here, currently 6.8db.
For comparison 12382H 7.2db (2F)
I believe one reason 11306H is weak here, is because 11264H is so strong and close

This is me thinking aloud here, but could one reason 11306H from Astra 2F has in having reception issues in parts of southwest Europe is because of co-channel interference from 11310H from Badr on 26E? I do know that where I live (Northern Ireland) , there are similar issues that I have experienced albeit in reverse (strong Astra 2 signals interfering with weaker Badr signals).

No, no signal at all.

I sent again to check if I can catch astro 2f from my location. I succeeded again on gibertini 150 and bulleye lnbs.

I'm happy to create reception. I don't watch programs much, but I'm happy if I succeed in Lock because it's a challenge for me. In winter, the signal will be a little better - I'll see how much progress there will be when I install the 1.8m Laminas - I'm counting on around 2 dB improvement.

Probably yes. If you look at the beam, I'm at least 1000 km outside of it, but my reception is at the lower limit.

I have max 4.5dB on Channel 5 with Gibby, no reception most of the day..
