Aye it makes all the difference with the pictures. :)

The annual singalong in germany followed by a cut to the Brandenburg Gate in berlin and LOTS of fireworks!

Meanwhile AIT Nigeria had a fireworks display on after their midnight. Obviously also being carried on religious channel Loveworld, coming live from Christ Embassy Lagos. The music was a heavy African Christian beat....

:-hny all folks in GMT/UTC/Zulu.

The London fireworks look cool on telly, I thought. Now if only that b'stard Red Ken could have done that a few years ago when I was standing at the base of St Stephen's Tower on NYE, not long after I arrived in the country (back then his opinion was that the public should make their own fun - his electioneering was a far more important recipient of funds).

Eh no NNTV which airs Vesti during its close down period is on a whole different transponder completely mate

No it was not

I watched both them channels on New Years eve, Vesti airs on 11.678 after the real channel NNTV closes down and NNTV did not close down for some time after New Years in Moscow Time Zone.

11.096 air Uzbekistan TV.

OK. I'll concede that it may have been NNTV, but there was definately a feed of the NY celebrations from the Uzbek channel showing when I took the capture.

I even double-checked 11.096 to compare the transmissions.
