I thought they were playing hits from 2010 in Sydney (e.g. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry...) BUt Bryan Ferry from 1976 or whenever it was?!? "Let's stick together"... great song! Am watching simultaneously on APTN at 10E and Euronews at 19E... till Euronews went to the headlines :-(

Fireworks in Australia lasted nearly 15 minutes and cost £3.75 million, according to Sky News. I enjoyed the musical montage they played. Also, I liked the way that, within 30 seconds of the fireworks finishing, the Sky News presenter managed to mention the recent Ashes results!!!
