Forget TV Cape Verde - its got some dreadful old semi p0rn film on it. As always CM has been a great way to end 2015 & begin 2016 - over & out from Galashiels. I shall have another glass of whisky then think about bed.

Same procedure next year ? :D

Happy New Year everyone!

Thank you all for making this so enjoyable. This was my first year chasing midnight as I'd never had access to 13E before so I was very much looking forward to joining you all this time around.

I'll be moving into my own place hopefully at some point this year so I do hope I'll have a dish setup and installed in time to participate next year.

Glad you have enjoyed it dk. Make sure you set up for 13E/19E when you get your own place - the German Silverstadtl progs are excellent.

I hate New Year - the annual "find the fireworks" chase helps me get through whats a difficult day & I always appreciate everyone's company on the thread

Some kind of motorized dish and a dish farm is ideal, though perhaps not 'socially acceptable'. The instant channel change of a diseqc switch system is addictive and often essential but you still need the motor. The combination makes it easier to grab all the images I used tonight.

Just for the record, how much sleep can we get before the next land fall ?

It depends how many 'shrooms you have had . . .

I'm off.

I'm going to set the timers and hopefully there will be something interesting in the morning.

Will definitely be getting a motorised setup. I used a motorised setup today to chase the celebrations. My parents wanted a dish up for Turksat and I made sure I motorised it :)
