11:00 - Auckland - Stream or Feed
13:00 - Sydney - Stream or Feed
14:00 - Guam - Had a good display last year, live stream available via PBS Guam on Youtube, alternative is Papua New Guinea
15:00 - Pyongyang - Display wasn't televised last year, won't know until the time if there is a display this year. Watchable via Korea Central TV stream or KCTV Rebroadcasts via News Feeds. Seoul's effort last year was extremely poor and you'll have the gongs from Tokyo
16:00 - Hong Kong - This years display is supposed to be their best ever - Stream or Feed. At the same time you'll have Beijing, Manila, Singapore and Taipei.
17:00 - Jakarta - This is a new one for us, TVRI World on Astra 1 19e is worth keeping an eye out for. Jakarta had a good display last year. Thai TV Global Network is no longer transmitted on satellite in Europe, in the past few years this channel hasn't carried any new years celebrations from Thailand anyway. Bangkok is usually carried by feeds for the major news networks, streams will be available aswell.
17:30 - Myanmar - Stream
18:00 - Dhaka - Stream - Usually from Kazakhstan its a pre-recorded speech from the president welcoming in the new year.
18:15 - Nepal - Nothing in previous years, possible streams?
18:30 - India - Nothing in recent years televised, possible streams?
19:00 - Pakistan - Geo News, Dunya News, 92 News on Astra 2 - Turkmenistan is also at the same time, they don't normally carry fireworks
20:00 - United Arab of Emirates - Ras al Khaimah, Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Festival (60 minute firework display)
21:00 - Bahrain - Bahrain TV Hotbird 13e - Bahrain had a good display last year. Nothing from Moscow last year and probably nothing this year aswell
22:00 - Athens - The Fireworks from the Acropolis are not carried by Greek Television but is available by Streams and Feeds. A note about Romania from last year "Just a party on TVRi on 13e, the fireworks are on TVRi Iasi 16e.". Ukraine is also 22:00 but there won't be any celebrations this year from there. Egypt is also 22:00
23:00 - Paris - The Fireworks from the Eifel Tower are not carried by French Television but is available by Streams and Feeds. France 2 normally goes with a different display. Paris are hosting the Olympics next year so they might go the extra mile. ZDF on Astra 1 will be carrying the display from Berlin. CNN showed Lagos, Nigeria last year, I don't expect anything this year. There might be a feed from Madrid, Rai Italy normally has a party (no fireworks).
00:00 - London - BBC One Astra 2 or Stream or Feed - Funchal, Madeira a good alternative usually shown by RTPi on Hotbird 13e
01:00 - Cabo Verde - Not normally carried, little to no chance of stream
02:00 - Nuuk, Greenland - Not normally carried, little to no chance of stream
03:00 - Rio de Janeiro - Stream or Feed, Argentinian TV is not worth watching
04:00 - La Paz and other cities - Nothing televised but streams available
05:00 - New York - Stream or Feed
06:00 - Chicago or Mexico City - Stream
07:00 - Boise, Idaho - CNN carried this last year but I wouldn't expect it to this year
08:00 - Seattle - Stream - Seattle had a good display last year, nothing much from Los Angeles or San Francisco. Las Vegas also worth keeping an eye out for
09:00 - Alaska - Stream. Anchorage is the biggest city in Alaska with a population near 300,000. Juneau and Fairbanks have populations close to 30,000
10:00 - Honolulu - Stream - The last city to ring in the New Year
