Al Jazeera Mubasher (Live) on Hotbird (13E),had a split screen with the NZ fireworks coupled with Gaza video and drone audio which gave it a decidedly different feel

Question: The ZZVGA ENC2 and 3 channels on 7e which are listing the NYE schedules - do they actually show the stuff listed, or is it information only, and you need to go to EBU1-3 - which are presumably elsewhere?

Ive had a look in the past, not much. The Africans on 9E can sometimes have a small celebration on plus there is ORTC Comoros 10E & TVGE Equatorial Guinea on 5E to have a look at

They change from the schedule to the feed at the time specified

11044 - EBU 1 (blue)
11049 - EBU 2 (green)
11055 - EBU 3 (purple)

Jools' Annual Hootenanny - LOCAL IP NETWORK ? from studio, can someone record it ?

Because the BBC has no money, all of the above was pre-recorded months ago. Just the fireworks from London and Edinburgh that are live 'inserts'.

There are three channels as mapperuo already pointed out.

Auckland was live on EBU1, but I think that all 3 channels must be checked.
Next is Sydney at 1pm GMT and UK, 2pm in Central Europe.

Hopefully there will be one some year, but the fireworks display might be like what you would have in your garden.

IIRC I did have a look at Congo but I don't think there was anything on. Though that doesn't mean there won't be something this year. 9e has delivered in the past. There is also Laayoune HD ("Western Sahara") etc on HotBird which might surprise - but might not!

There was a bit of build up to the Sydney display on the ABC News stream on the hour, they might carry it later, or possibly just part of it.
