Because the BBC has no money, all of the above was pre-recorded months ago. Just the fireworks from London and Edinburgh that are live 'inserts'. :(
Would explain why KT Bumstall is on several of the shows... which I will not be watching... :N

Viz Top-Tipp - 1855 BBC Two there is a contemporary dance theatre version of the Matrix sci-fi film. I will be recording it. Don't blame me if it turns out to be worse than Bad Education's mashup school play.

Always worth searching Facebook for any live streams. Facebook used to allow you to search for live videos based on location but because of privacy reasons they've removed this feature which makes things a bit harder.

Melbourne and Sydney up in 7 minutes

Adelaide is on a half hour later split from Sydney so might be worth searching for 13.30

KT Tunstall went to my school.. Was the music teachers only claim to fame, wouldn't shut up about her as if she created her.

Al Jazeera Mubasher (Live) on Hotbird (13E),had a split screen with the NZ fireworks coupled with Gaza video and drone audio which gave it a decidedly different feel
Frankly I'm surprised they had anything at all, I kind of wrote them off this year because of the war.

I suppose fireworks and bombs don't sound that much different

The Music Seems To Have Cut Out From Sydney So They Have Let The Fireworks Take Over The Rhythm Still Impressive

Fireworks are fantastic as usual in Sydney, don't think much of the sound track

I think this is my 20th chasing midnight. When I first started barely just gotten broadband in my area and now can happily watch all the big events on the internet with ease on a device that fits in my hand.

The might have a split screen all day. It would help if Mubasher was in HD.

CGTN HD 19.2e is now going around China, about NYE.

You are supposed to be using your dish (though it obviously won't fit in your hand).

I laughed so hard I nearly had a heart attack.

This is proof they only employ tone deaf music teachers...

The first event I can find on this forum was 2004, although it had started a few years previously over on the DS forum. :) I havent posted on DS since 2011 so I CBA to go and use the search there to find the earlier events.
