Came back indoors after photographing aurora borealis a bit and Pakistan seemed to be still ongoing. Anyways, switched over to Dubai now.

Im back - had to take half an hour out for dinner.

Most impressed with Adu Dhabi TV - a fabul;ous drone show on the run up to the top of the hour, than one of the longest fireworks displays we have ever seen!

Well worth looking out the footage of Abu Dhabi drone show in a couple of days btw.

I sure did not have Abu Dhabi playing Joe Hisaishi's - Merry-Go-Round of Life at the NYE fireworks on my year 2024 bingo card. Anyways, off to aurora hunting again.

Anyone watching it is part of an elite band - its still pretty much unknown here in the UK. It was totally unknown until I started mentioning it on the Digital Spy forum & then here 20 or so years ago

A few years ago I was on holiday in Germany & one evening the harrassed waiter passed our table muttering "Same procedure as last year?" he almost dropped the plate he was carring in surprise when I snapped back "Same procedure as EVERY year"
