Picked this cordless drill up today £100, not a bad price considering it comes with two batteries.

OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Custom built PC

Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
Have several in the junk drawer, the battery's don't last and the motor goes through bushes like crazy.

On one the charger burned out after 2 years.

After I retired I designed and built decks for fund and joy, bought several for the helpers, didn't last too long, went to the Milwaukee Li-Ion brand and have never been happier... 7 years and counting on the battery's that came with the tools, bought a kit that had one drill, one impact driver and one skill saw, all use the same battery, and the battery's charge up in 1/2 hour.

I've never had any issues with Makita apart from the batteries not holding there charge after 4/5 years, I cant complain at that reason for buying another, I have various tools all the top brands, this particular drill is guaranteed for three years,

I'm semi retired now just buying and selling houses so it wont get much use, I'm quite sure I will get a few years from it if not ill take it back.
