You could always move down here. 2014 was the driest year on record. Alicante was the driest city on the planet.
This week alone has been ( similar to the last twenty years) fantastic........in your work or whatever, working outside is a pleasure....no down time.

The 6ºC shown is for tonight!.....outside at the mo is actually 15.1ºC.

Take sunday, 26ºC high with an 11ºC low.

That famous spanish saying here comes to the front ' It's always sunny here, some days it is just a question of when!'

Could be a problem with the time space continuum, or your cronographic recording device has malfunctioned. Either way, why are you watching Tiny Pop during school hours!

I love this forum - I get good advice and have a laugh as well! - but to answer your observtion - I had my little daughter home ill and off school at the time and for some odd reason she loves Tiny Pop. There's no accounting for taste is there? Had no issues for the past week on any of the channels we have been watching - including good old BBC1 SE - am now thinking there must be a bird somewhere which chooses to roost on my LNB from time to time :) There have been a few looking for nest sites around here recently although no "evidence" of them having been near the dish or LNB!

Hm - at 3:30 in the afternoon
Was just a suggestion. For me it went off for 10 minutes this morning. After all this is the "Costa Blanca Seasonal Signal Fluctuation" thread.

Yup we also had the sun blackout too - it lasted at total of about 7 minutes with gradual to severe pixelisation over that time and total loss was only about 90 seconds to about 2 minutes at the most in the centre of that.

I had my little daughter home ill...
That old excuse!

Anyway, problem could be more inset than bird related, had to remove a very big black flying insect from a lnb yesterday. The bugger got back in before I could put some poly in, so had to strip the lnb twice. Need to buy the inserts to stop the bugs!

I assume this means no **it on the dish or lnb!
Spot on...... Also checked the LNB insert - its a polystyrene plug which is still firmly in place so I doubt any ingres of creepie crawlies.

I am aware I have been party to diluting this thread! If any passing god would be so kind as to move all bug/ **it related posts to " chit - chat " that would be appreciated. TKS

Re this thread, went to replace a 80cm dish for a lh110 today to get German TV from Astra1 for an couple, he is English, she is Dutch, but both speak German! He bought the 110 at an auction as his Astra 1 system was loosing channels. Fixed the 80cm dish by correctly adjusting the lnb skew, so suggested using the 110 to get UK tv. They liked the idea.
To cut a four hour story down to 1 minute, was able to get all UK channels on the 110, using a BU red label lnb, with no problem. Location was Benijofar, Alicante. 10773H at 9.8dBm
