Well, Tours isn't too far south of me (3 - 4 hours drive) and I can get most verticals 24/7 and most horizontals after 21:00 on a 1 metre Gibertini. On my 1.2M Laminas, I get nearly all V & H T/P's 24/7 from 101 & 102 and Atlantic Bird 7 has a good rainfade margin (a bit of a bonus!!)
cool
i moved to London since 7 years now
so guess 120cm (in my terrace) should be fine for most verticals
i just checked
l=http://www.dishpointer.com
(integrated with google map) and it seem there is a 4 story office building 42m far from my dish in terrace, building is taller than normal building as one room hight is 5m not 3m, but site is telling me that it should be no more 25m higher, which is ok, as still it give me 6m margin
i will search first for Atlantic bird 2 8.0°W which u can get with 45cm dish, then small amendment and can find 7.0°W easily
anyway am gonna try to correct the dish focus , as i guess it is not 100% focused .. am gonna try the mirror/sun method, is there any other trick to help me correct dish focus to LNB? as I think the LNB Arm is not really in the right angle or right position (i had to tape it to correct the focus to receive Badr 4) and that will sure gonna make my attempt to search 7.0°W much harder, so need to fix that first.. any ideas?
