DM600 and Sky Info required

Hi i am in cornwall i had a sly subscription at home and it was turned off about 9mths ago im thinking of buying a dreambox 600s can i get rte and net 2 on this dreambox

dreambox will open the Irish channels if you have an Irish card that's still vaild. If it's been switched off (as I suspect), the card is no good any more : there are NO Irish FTV cards, only UK ones.

just to add to what JTA said, you also need to live in ireland ot know somebody with an irish address to gain access to a basic sly ireland card.

you can only get the irish channel's such as rte once you gret a basic subscription. These are not free with a ftv card or fta.

Ok when I have my sky card is it okay just to put it in dreambox and it should work? Or do I have to do something else first? I have CCcam 2.08 installed. I dont have the CCcam config installed though!Also this is prob a silly question but should it be face up or face down. Thanks

Put the card in(chip downwards) put on an encrypted channel, restart the cam and that should be it.
