DM8000 Fancontrol

I have installed a PWM Fan in my DM8000 running Nabilo Blackhole 0.12.
I downloaded and installed FanControl from the plugin-menu.
But I was curious if there is an english version of this program, or if there is another program for controlling the fan speed.
I tried to press RED button (Calibrate) but then the fan stopped, and it didn't start up again before I restarted the box. What is the function of the "Calibrate"?.
I notice that the fan spins with a RPM of about 3000, and doesn't spin down or up with more than +/- 50rpm.
Is this normal?

there are different drivers for the fan ... the 1 i'm using, lets me choose the speed of the fan. once i press calibrate the fan starts to increase revs. once i press exit the fan runs at that chosen speed. it will continue to run until i reboot the box, were i have to recalibrate it once again.

Where is it possible to download other drivers for the fan?
I can't find any other download from green-button.
