..and a closer estimate on the 2 peak centres at 38E would be
20278 and 20362 ..
which would tie in nicely with Athena-Fidus Military coms

Flattening coins appears to be legal,
Hm, my memory is the exact opposite. When I tried putting old pennies on the railway trcks to see how large they would go I have a distinct memory of being aware that, strictly speaking, it was against the law.

How large did they go? Dunno, as I never found any of my pennies after the train had been past!

Strange Paul, I can't find any images of British coinage being defaced by a passing train. Maybe that's because of Network Rail cancellations or 'coins on the line'...However, I did find one image from North America...

Mind you, Googling an image search for 'pennies on railway lines' does produce strange results...

Yes, that's about right VS. Around 20308H. Promax he say 20307.76, but baseband shows 1558.91. Need to do the maths to take into account the Hughes LNB LO drift.

Using Hughes LNB+depolariser on Triax 1.1 dish.

So ..would you say this is linear or circular Llew..
12W that is ?

I'm guessing circular ..and I would have to reintroduce a depolariser to lock a constellation..
But then it could just be the Hughes is higher gain.

I'm giving myself a pat on the back for my guestimated scale/lo setting in crazyscan..
Got pretty close without a Promax ...
One day wodney ..

Yes, that's a good effort on your part VS, well done with the Invacom.

Can't get my old brain around the circular/linear question with the depolariser in situ. I know I had have it in orientated as in the pic (as when it was used earlier on the TD88) to get a signal. Moving it around off that angular position loses it.
