Dreambox accessing pc network

My Satellite Setup
a sky mini dish + a Dreambox 600S with Gemini- 430 and CCcam 2.0.8
My Location
Cornwall UK
Hi,

I am running windows xp on my laptop and I can bring up my dreambox on my laptop by putting the ip of the dreambox in the web browser address bar. To me this means that my laptop can access my dreambox. However I am wondering If my dreambox can access my laptop i.e. so I can record onto my laptop's harddrive do I have to configure a network to allow my dreambox to access my laptop or enable certain options? Any help greatly appreciated!
